Emma trained at RADA. She has been an actress for over 20 years in Film, TV, Theatre and Audio. She is best known for playing Mrs Drewe in Downton Abbey, the movie Military Wives and for playing Ginny in the West End Production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Emma has recently appeared in The Good Ship Murder and Criminal Record. Out now is Amadeus, on Sky TV. Upcoming is Patience for channel 4 and Grace for ITV.

Awards include Manchester Theatre Award Best Actress for her performances in Port and The Seagull, Ian Charleson Award Nomination for The Seagull, SAG award Best Ensemble for Downton Abbey, BAFTA Special Recognition For An Ensemble for Downton Abbey.

Emma sits on the audition panel for RADA. She has an enhanced DBS certificate, safeguarding and prevent training, and holds a children's mental health certificate.
